The hospitality industry in the North Highlands is preparing for another busy season welcoming visitors from all over the world to experience Sutherland and Caithness. To help them offer a warm Highland welcome, their recruiting various roles across the region.
Developing the Young Workforce North Highland and the Department of Work & Pensions have been working together alongside employers in Sutherland to develop the Hospitality Open Door events which take place from 16th – 20th May 2022 and give job seekers the opportunity to visit venues, engage directly with employers and learn about life in the hospitality industry.
There are a huge range of opportunities available within Housekeeping, Front of House, Kitchen work, General Assistants and shop assistants. The participating employers encourage applicants to come along and ask any questions they might have. Positions are flexible and can be negotiated to best suit the right candidate and the business needs.
Attendees are welcome to bring along a CV to the session but there is no pressure to apply for any positions discussed. The sessions are informal and drop in, please just ask for the Hospitality Open Door sessions on arrival. Specific contact details for each venue are available using the links below.
