Barclays – Life Skills
LifeSkills is a free employability programme to give people the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to succeed in work.
The programme provides free resources for those helping young people and adults:
- for those working to support adults in support/carer roles at housing associations, charities, etc., the programme provides 30 modules on employability skills and financial capability
- for teachers in schools, colleges and those working with young people, the programme provides over 100 hours of lesson plans, slides, videos and interactive tools
Learners can also access content online, where young people (aged 14+) and adults can access self-serve content on financial education and employability skills.
LifeSkills is offering a free, online session from 12:30 – 13:00 on Wednesday 18th November, aimed at anyone supporting adults/young people with CVs, interviews, transferable skills and financial education. The session will cover making the most of our content, as well as the content that we have available online for learners to use themselves.
