Join UHI North, West and Hebrides (UHI NWH) at the ETEC Building on the Thurso campus for their first STEM Counts event, a fun-filled family day focused on Science and Maths. The UHI NWH team have put together a range of fun activities for the whole family including:
- Solve the puzzle and challenges to break free from their escape room activity.
- Learn basic coding skills with their interactive games.
- Use your maths and problem-solving skills to learn more about dinosaurs.
- Get slimy with Messy Nessy through their fun slime-making activity.
- Tour UHI NWH’s Engineering facility and find out more about STEM and Multiply Maths courses available in Caithness.
- Refreshments and a goody bag will also go home with every child.
- Lego building, games and free play areas are also included.
