Developing the Young Workforce North Highland

• When: Starts 23rd April, one night a week for 6 weeks
• Where: Online (Microsoft Teams)
• Time: 7pm to 8.30pm
• Cost: Free

Action for Children Family First service supports families who have been impacted by substance use – this includes drug and alcohol use.

Raising Teens with Confidence is a free six week course for parents and carers of young people aged 11 to 16 years. The course helps you to explore emotional health and well-being and ways to promote it in your family.

Over six ninety minute sessions it will cover the following topics:

• The Teenage Years (Why what you do matters)
• The amazing Teenage Brain (What is going on in there)
• Risky Business (Managing risk, challenge and adventure)
• It’s good to Talk (The importance of staying connected)
• The Brain Under Stress (Overcoming setbacks and developing resilience)
• Looking after your well-being (Coping with the changes)
