An opportunity has become available at our workshop in Lybster for an Apprentice Plant Mechanic. This is a three-year apprenticeship where you will gain SVQ Construction Plant or Machinery Maintenance SCQF level 5.
Working Conditions
- The working hours will be 47.5 hours per week.
- Formal apprentice training will be provided by external trainer in weekly blocks throughout the year.
- Practical training will be provided on site.
- Required to work additional hours as necessitated by the needs of the business.
- Involves working in external conditions with exposure to all types of weather.
Personal Profile
- Keen interest in mechanical repairs, construction machinery, lorries and a good attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, friendly, flexible approach to your working day and a willingness to work with and support colleagues.
- Enthusiastic, engaged attitude and eagerness to learn and develop personally and professionally.
