Role Statement: As a Fabrication Workshop Technician at Enerquip Torque, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process. You will be responsible for executing duties within the Fabrication Workshop, ensuring the production of high-quality products while adhering to Enerquip’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards, policies, and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute fabrication and welding duties under the guidance of the Engineering Manager or workshop chargehand.
  • Interpret engineering drawings accurately to complete assigned fabrication/welding tasks.
  • Maintain the workshop bays, equipment, and tools to ensure high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
  • Conduct pre-use maintenance checks on equipment and report any faults to the workshop chargehand.
  • Safely and correctly utilise shared equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Follow the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems and report any concerns promptly.
  • Fulfil any other duties as directed by the Engineering Management or workshop chargehand.
  • Ensure timely completion of high-quality products according to engineering drawings within the assigned time scale.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Willingness to learn how to use a variety of tools and equipment used for fabrication.
  • Literacy skills to read and understand engineering drawings once trained.
