Climate Emergency Training for HCWP Youth Climate Advocates

March course: 6th, 13th & 20th Mar 2023

Online – Bookings Via Eventbrite

About this course

Environmental charity Keep Scotland Beautiful is offering free Climate Emergency Training to 18-24 year olds in the Highlands, with a focus on sustainable consumption, as part of the Highland Community Waste Partnership.

The course will provide an introduction to the causes and impacts of climate change and what can be done to address it. Climate change can seem overwhelming, so during this course we emphasise what actions are being taken globally, and in the Highlands, and what you can do to help.

As well as a chance to take action in your community, as a Youth Climate Advocate you can receive Carbon Literacy Project certification which can be added to CVs, university applications, Duke of Edinburgh awards, or contribute to other schemes such as the High Life Highland Green Leadership Award.
