Job Opportunity: Graduate Planner / Planner – The Highland Council, Dingwall

  • Dingwall
  • Hours: 35 Hours per week
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Salary: HC06 – HC09 £29,047 – £44,790 p.a.*
  • Applicants with little or no previous experience will be placed on the basic Graduate Planner scale HC06; and progression thereafter to Planner (HC09) dependant on gaining professional qualification (Membership of the RTPI))

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To assist and contribute to the delivery of a high quality planning system through Development Management and Development Planning.

Requirements

Educated to degree level in an appropriate discipline, accredited by RTPI or other body related to the built and natural environment for Graduate Planner 2.

Full membership of the RTPI (for Planner position).

Ability to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirement of the Service.
