The Highland Council is offering a fantastic opportunity to apply for a 4-week paid placement this summer, providing a chance to gain valuable work experience within the Council!
What’s on offer?
- 4 weeks paid work experience
- 27.5 hours per week
- £12.60 per hour
To apply, you need to be:
- Pupil in S5 or S6
- Aged 16-18
- Available to work 14th July – 8th August
Opportunities Available
- Bus Transport Service (Inverness) – Learn about our transport operations, office support and maintenance schedules.
- Learning and Development Team (Inverness) – Business Support Role, working alongside our staff development colleagues.
- Health & Social Care (Inverness) – An office-based role which will give insight into the varied work delivered by the team.
- Climate Change & Energy (Inverness) – Business Support Role – learn about Highland’s green agenda.
- Customer Service (Alness) – Learn about the role Customer Service plays in the Highland Council’s delivery of services.
- Licensing Service (Dingwall) – Clerical role, learn about how the council supports residents and business to be compliant with licensing laws.
