Aurora are currently seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Technician to join our team in the Wick office.
In the role of Trainee Technician, you will be undertaking a journey towards executing complex operations across a range of disciplines and worksites within the Company.
Trainee Technicians will gain experience in inspection, maintenance, rope access, torquing and tensioning, lifting operations, wind turbine blade repair and fabrication and installation activities under appropriate supervision.Details
Specific duties and responsibilities shall include the following:
- Carrying outgeneral yard duties including cleaning, maintenance and testing of equipment, loading and unloading of deliveries, forklift operations and ensuring sites are kept clean, tidy and safe at all times.
- Management of levels of stock and materials and addressing all arising requirements and shortfalls.
- Preparing machinery and tools for use and operating them in accordance with manufacture rand company requirements.
- Mobilising and demobilising equipment in an organised manner and in accordance with company and client requirements.
- Completing all necessary documentation and records.

- Undertaking training and skills development activities through the Company’s Training Centre.
- Progression to project site work as appropriate.
- Supporting and assisting the wider operations team as required.
You will require a full UK driving license.
